Library Arrangements for the End of Semester and Summer Vacation

To all BHI departments:

In line with BHI’s “2026–2027 Summer Vacation Arrangements” and current library usage, the library will adjust its opening hours and focus staff efforts on shelf reorganization, periodical maintenance, and locker clearance. The following arrangements are hereby announced:

I. Recent Opening Hours

· June 26-28: 8:30 — 22:30

· June 29-30: 8:30 — 17:00

· Starting July 1: Closed for summer vacation

II. Book Return Extension

Books borrowed over the vacation period should be returned by September 25, 2026. Readers can log in to the library's OPAC system—My Library—to check their book due dates and return them on time to avoid overdue fines.

III. Digital Resource Access

During the vacation, access to the library's various digital resources is available within the college network. Among them, resources such as Wanfang, Emerald, Baidu Wenku, JD Reading, and Chanxiang Star can be accessed off-campus once activated on-campus or via a designated off-campus account. Readers with urgent needs for digital resources may contact library staff for assistance.
