High-Quality Employment: Huazhu Group's Inaugural Visit to BHI in the New Semester, Revealing the “Huazhu Elite Class” Talent Program
To foster deeper industry-education integration and precisely meet the talent demands of the industry, at the start of the new semester, BHI Career Center extended an invitation to Wang Dong, Senior Training Director of Huazhu Group, and Dong Xiaoxin, Training Manager, for an on-campus exchange. The two parties had in-depth discussions on key topics including graduate employment alignment, job placement, and career development empowerment. As the first significant school-enterprise collaboration event of the new semester, this visit established an efficient communication channel between the two parties, signifying a new phase in the cooperative exploration between BHI and the globally leading hotel group.

Shi Jingying, Director of the Career Center of BHI, warmly welcomed the Huazhu Group delegation and provided a comprehensive introduction on the school’s major settings, talent cultivation features, and employment strengths of graduates. She highlighted BHI’s recent achievements in school-enterprise cooperation projects, emphasizing that BHI has unwavering commitment to the “employment-oriented” path. Students from BHI are equipped with both solid professional theoretical knowledge and extensive practical internship experience in the hotel industry, aligning perfectly with Huazhu Group’s talent requirements. Strengthening school-enterprise cooperation will not only create high-quality employment pathways for students to achieve their career aspirations but also supply enterprises with high-quality applied talents, empowering their high-quality development, and ultimately realizing a win-win situation for both BHI and enterprises.
Wang Dong, Senior Training Director of Huazhu Group, introduced the company’s development and talent strategy. He noted that Huazhu, a top global hotel group, operates over 12,700 hotels in 20 countries, with 30 renowned brands like Quanji and Hanting, leading the market. Operational management roles are in high demand for graduates.
During the discussion, Wang Dong specifically shared the “Huagao Class” project, which aims to cultivate high-end, international management talents aligned with the group’s strategy. It features a clear, progressive talent growth path and tiered training goals, addressing students’ transition from campus to workplace and aligning with the hotel industry’s talent development from grassroots to management, achieving synergy and alignment between talent cultivation and industry growth.
Guo Ruihuan, Director of Career Center, shared the BHI’s employment system, training model, and cooperation mechanism, and had an in-depth discussion with the delegation on some core issues about “Huagao Class”, such as welfare and target groups.
The exchange was fruitful, with both sides reaching important cooperation agreements. Given the alignment between the talent training model of BHI and the needs of Huazhu Group, both will deepen cooperation to jointly supply the hotel industry with high-quality professionals.
