Brief Introduction
The University of Delaware (UD or UDel) is located in Newark, Delaware. It is one of the oldest first-class public research universities in the United States. Founded in 1743 and officially renamed the University of Delaware in 1921, it is the first school in the United States to provide overseas learning programs.
Delaware was regarded as one of the best universities by the Princeton Review. It is the first institution of higher education in Delaware. It is sited in the center of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in the United States and is well known as a famous "Ivy League" institution. The Business School has a world-class research level in many fields, especially the business major, and has obtained the AACSB certification and the AACSB accounting certification.
