Management trainee training program to help students find high-quality employment

To implement the decision and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, The State Council and the higher education authorities on "stable employment" and "ensuring employment", promote the employment of college graduates, and strive to improve the full high-quality employment of graduates, BHI began to create the employment ace project —— Management Training plan from 2021. Since the implementation of this project, the number of management trainees admitted by enterprises through this project has increased year by year. In 2023, the number of management trainees has reached 30% of the number of fresh graduates in the same year, and the employment quality and employment satisfaction of graduates have been significantly improved.640.jpg

School positioning and school-running characteristics

With distinctive characteristics, they adhere to the combination of theory and practice and focus on cultivating students' practical ability and problem-solving ability. Campus has a four-star standard teaching hotel and normal operation. All hotel management personnel from the national five-star hotel manager or department director above position has rich experience in hotel management, and they are responsible for the daily operation management of the hotel both, and a line of school teaching staff, participate in training students' hotel management knowledge and field skills. The curriculum of China and Switzerland respects the law of talent training, the teaching content step by step, adhering to the close combination of theory and practice, and closed loop rotation. After learning the basic theoretical basis of the hotel and service industry, freshmen enter the teaching hotel and participate in the simulation and training of 16 corresponding modules in the hotel. During the sophomore and junior years, they arrange one semester to enter the off-campus cooperative units for internship. Upon graduation, the Swiss students have 1.5 years of practical work experience, and have the basic quality requirements of hotel and pan-service industry managers. Students graduate into the enterprise, and after a brief training, they can work on the post, the enterprise shortens the training time of employees, reduces the cost of human training, and improves the efficiency of talent reserve. Graduates of BHI have been favored and welcomed by enterprises.

To create high-quality employment

Management trainee is the talent reserve plan for cultivating middle and senior management personnel independently. Usually, management trainees need to practice in different departments of the company. After understanding the whole operation process of the company, they will then arrange to take management positions according to their expertise as a talent reserve. In the hotel and hospitality industries such as Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental, Shangri-La, Kempinski, Mandarin Oriental, and other well-known luxury hotel chain brands, as well as China Resources, Vanke, Holiland, Nio, Starbucks, and other outstanding domestic enterprises have management trainee recruitment plans.

Organize and implement the management and student training program


To actively promote management trainee plan, and efficient implementation of management trainee recruitment activities, the hotel management institute has with including hotel, catering, property, trade, finance, rent, apartment, education, nine big industries, more than 40 head enterprises signed "talent training strategic cooperation agreement", to build "production, talent training base", help the implementation of management trainee plan. The establishment of the industry-university-research talent training base has expanded the internship and employment platform for BHI students, and also helped the talent reserve of cooperative enterprises. BHI  has also continuously deepened the construction of the industry-university-research talent training base, and attracted more high-quality enterprises to join. 640 (2).jpg


On the student side, the college has comprehensively adjusted the employment guidance course, and widely publicized the recruitment month activities of management trainees. The Internship and Employment Guidance Center organizes publicity recruitment activities for enterprise management, and training projects, including online and offline publicity and job fairs and enterprise experience day, to help graduates understand the development status and recruitment needs of various industries from various perspectives.

BHI on October 16, 2023 solstice on November 17, 2024 graduates management trainee recruitment month activities, the activity attracted has signed a contract with the relevant industry-related key enterprises to actively participate in, including hotels, catering, property, trade, finance, rent the apartment, education and other nine industries about more than 40 enterprises, the event for the graduates management  trainee related jobs nearly hundred, attending unit quantity, post quality remains high. Among them, there are also many outstanding alumni on behalf of the enterprise back to school recruitment. Enterprises into the college classroom, preach the scene of students’ positive interaction

At each recruitment activity site, the teachers of the internship and employment guidance center and the graduating class counselors actively communicate with the employers and the graduates, fully understanding the recruitment needs of the employers, the students 'job-hunting situation, and the opinions and suggestions of both sides on the school's talent training and employment services, and actively promote the graduates. Through such activities, employers received a large number of resumes of students, highly recognized the quality and professional ability of BHI graduates, and were very optimistic about the prospect of cultivating high-level talents in the college. Some employers feedback that the recruitment month activities of management trainees are highly targeted, which meet the development needs of the enterprise, and provide strong support for the recruitment of compound talents with strong professional quality and excellent comprehensive ability.
