BHI 2014 Graduation Ceremony

Beijing Hospitality Institute (BHI) 2014 Graduation Ceremony was held in front the library on June 27th. Dr. LI Bo Tan, the Founder of BHI and the Chairman of BHI Board of Directors; Prof. Michel Rochat, General Director of EHL; Prof. GAN Lian Fang, National Committee Member and Chairman of Beijing Xingpai Group; Mr. LI Xiaomu, Vice President of Beijing International Studies University; and Mr. WANG Xue Jun, Town Party Committee Secretary of Panggezhuang, Daxing District, Beijing attended the grand celebration. Honorable guests including nearly 40 hoteliers from Kempinski, Ritz-Carlton, Faimont, Aman, Rosewood, Sheraton, Conrad, Sofitel, Raffles, Peninsula and etc. also participated in the ceremony. Families and BHI professors together with students celebrated for the new graduates.

Keynote Speech by Mr. Michael Henssler

Mr. Michael Henssler, being the Managing Director of Key International Hotels Management Co., Ltd., President, of Kempinski S.A.- China as well as the visiting professor of BHI and an alumnus of EHL, delivered keynote speech about hospitality industry, which is the last lesson at school for graduates on career development.

Prof. LI Qiu Shi was elected by graduates as the representative of BHI faculty. He delivered a speech, sharing his recognition of BHI and his friendship with students.

Ms. LI Meng Ya and Mr. LIU Ling Feng, as graduates representatives, also made speeches to share their good memories and understanding of hospitality, as well as to expresses their appreciation for BHI.
