The BHI yoga school team won the championship again
The 7th Yoga Style and Group Yoga Competition of Capital University of Higher Learning was successfully held at Beijing Union University. The competition is guided by Beijing Municipal Education Commission, sponsored by Beijing University Student Sports Association, organized by Beijing Union University, and executed by the Yoga Branch of Beijing University Student Sports Association.
More than 650 contestants from 27 universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Beijing Union University took part in the competition. Hao Guang'an, chairman of Beijing University Student Sports Association, Zhang Wei, secretary general of the Association, Wang Aimin, secretary general of Yoga Branch, and leaders of various universities attended the competition. Zhang Shuai, director of BHI Sports Teaching and Research Section, attended the competition at the opening ceremony.

BHI sent teachers and students yoga team of 43 people nine teams, under the leadership of Liu Qianzhe, the teacher of the health and fitness Department, participated in this competition and performed well and achieved good results! Successfully won six first prizes, three second prizes, won the first group (B) group total score gratifying results! The team overcome lots of difficulties, including no game experience, time management which enabled for the team to train for only three months, and it is worth mentioning that the department staff and students use their spare time to practice, in the middle of the night rehearsal, spent a lot of time and energy.
