My First Stage: Interns Award Ceremony

Excellent Interns

    On April 10, 2018, BHI Interns (Year 2) Award Ceremony was held in Multifunctional Hall of BHI Teaching Hotel. 258 excellent interns and eight excellent intern teams were awarded.

    Guo Ruihuan, Director of Hospitality Management Department, Wang Shujiao, Director of Executive Administration Department, Zha Shijun, Director of Academic Affairs Department, Wei Chunyan, Director of Career Center, other relevant faculties, counselors, internship tutors and interns attended the ceremony.

    Interns from Disney Resort, Shanghai and Disney Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando gave a show of Try Everything. 

Hua Zhenjiang, Excellent Intern from Mandarin Oriental Pudong,Shanghai, In Room Dining

    Hua: Internship in Mandarin Oriental Pudong is like a gift to me, but I went through a lot to unwrap it. Once, my manager was blamed because I made a mistake. However, he showed me the right way to do it instead of blaming me. I was touched and found the nature of this gift.

Zhang Yisheng, Excellent Intern from Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, Concierge

    Zhang: I made big progress on oral English during my internship and appreciated our teamwork. I will try my best to be a better hotelier.

    Director of Career Center, Wei Chunyan said: We have received plenty of feedback from your employer. They were very satisfied with your attitude and competencies. We should keep combining practices and theories so that more excellent interns would come out.

Awarding Time

    Excellent Intern Team were awarded to the teams from Bvlgari Hotel Beijing, Westin Beijing Chaoyang, Rosewood Beijing, Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, InterContinental Shanghai NECC, Mandarin Oriental Pudong,Shanghai, Renaissance Suzhou Hotel and Team of Disney.

    HRs sent their congrats and wishes to the interns.

    Director of Academic Affairs Department, Zha Shijun expressed his gratitude to all interns and tutors. He hoped all students could remember and cherish those days in hotel and made them meaningful. Everything we learned would do good to our future.
