Full harvest: The South Korean International Students Started the Year 2019 with an Internship in China

    February 19th, is the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival. On this special day, there are three South Korean international students who have successfully completed their off-campus internships at the Beijing Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Financial Street. There will also be one South Korean international student finishing his internship on 25th at the Shanghai Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pudong and returning to South Korea on 26th. Let's take a look at their colorful internship life.

    These three South Korean international students were not used to the internship at the beginning because they could not speak Chinese proficiently. 
    When the internship finished, Kim Mingyeong says “we are very busy and tired everyday, but we have gained a lot from this internship.” Song Kyoungah says “If I know nothing about what I should do during the work, all of my colleagues will help me very patiently.” 

    All these three South Korean international students express that they will cherish the memory of their internship here at the Beijing Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Financial Street. While also, they believe this internship will be of great help to their future study and future career.

    The South Korean international student Hong Soontaek soon adapted to his internship there at the Shanghai Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pudong because of his previous exchanging studies in Shanghai. During the internship, Hong Soontaek had received a lot of praise from his colleagues and guests.
    Hong Soontaek says “I am so happy to have received praise from them. I’ve chosen this hotel because I love everything here in Shanghai. I’ve learned a lot of things and made a lot of friends during the internship.”
    The four South Korean international students have now successfully completed their internships and will return to South Korea to continue their college study. They have expressed their gratitude to the teachers and students in Beijing Hospitality Institute for their help. They also say they will miss the days when they studied here in BHI and had their internships in the hotels.
At the same time, the international students hope BHI will get better and better to attract more international students to gain a unique experience of studying abroad.
