Notice on Dressing According to Summer Standards after the May Day Holiday

Dear all teachers and students:

As the weather gradually gets hotter, we hereby notify you of the adjustment of the dress code for the summer semester as follows:

1.Implementation date: May 7th, 2025 (Wednesday), to be officially implemented until the date of the announcement of the adjustment of the dress standards for the autumn semester of 2025.

2.Applicable time: Wear summer formal attire from 8:00 to 17:00 every Monday to Thursday (excluding official events), and wear summer business casual attire every Friday.

3. Range of application: All faculty and students of BHI (faculty and students in the Training Hotel shall follow the dress code of the Training Hotel )

4. Basic requirements: Please refer to the Basic Code of Conduct and Etiquette of Beijing Hospitality Institute for implementation. The main changes are as follows:

Men: For summer attire, men can take off the suit jacket and wear a long sleeved shirt with a tie.

Ladies:Ladies can wear summer attire with three-quarters sleeved jacket, long sleeved shirt, etc. Sleeveless tops should be worn together with suit jackets, while sleeveless or three-quarters sleeved or short sleeved dresses can also be worn. When wearing pants, do not wear socks; When wearing skirts, long stockings are not necessary. For formal occasions, receptions, and other events, ladies must wear plain long stockings without patterns.
